What is ISEN?

If you're an artist, ISEN will help you to catalogue and keep track of your editioned artworks. If you are a buyer, the ISEN information will give you quick access to the history of the work you are interested in acquiring and will guarantee its authenticity. If you are a researcher, librarian or art dealer, ISEN will help you to catalogue works of art much more efficiently.

ISEN is the custodian of your artworks provenance; a registration system for artists, gallerists, collectors; an online system to standardize the way the art world organizes and archives information.

ISEN will keep track of when was the work produced, who produced it, how many editions were created, records of who owns it, its condition at the time of last sale, past owners and other important information. ISEN enables artists to organize and manage their editions so that they do not exceed their edition limits.

The artist can choose to purchase a ISEN holographic label for their works at a nominal fee of $1. A QR code on the label can be scanned to have quick access to available information about the corresponding artwork. These official labels will give collectors confidence that the art they are buying is genuine and authenticated by the artist.
